JOB SUMMARY
Works under general supervision to provide advanced data entry skills to accomplish input and verification of information to computer system.
NBS Follow-up Assistant to assist with data collection and aggregation to meet requirements of an existing contract with the Texas Department of State Health. Duties to include completion of long term NBS follow up form, liaison with the TOSH regarding status of NBS cases, completion and submission of diagnosis forms, etc.

High School graduation or GED
- Experience
1 year experience as Data Entry Operator I or equivalent
JOB DUTIES
- In addition to duties performed by Data Entry Operator I:
- Codes or instructs others in coding of information for entry.
- Recognizes problems identified by computer relating to acceptance of data based upon good working knowledge of prewriting program; makes necessary adjustments.
- May work out or assist in developing new codes or procedures for small unit.
- May assist in training and providing working supervision to Data Entry Operators I.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
